This privacy statement discloses the privacy practices for services provided by Heritage Palms Golf & Country Club, Incorporated (HPGCC). Our members’ information is important to us, and we are committed to maintaining professional standards of confidentiality. Our privacy policy below discusses the types of information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, that we might disclose it. A COMMITMENT TO YOUR PRIVACY

Because we gather certain types of information about our users, we feel you should fully understand our policy and the terms and conditions surrounding the capture and use of that information. This privacy statement discloses what information we gather and how we use it.
 
 
Information Heritage Palms Golf & Country Club Gathers And Tracks
Heritage Palms gathers three types of information about users:
 
1. Information that users provide through optional, voluntary submissions. These are voluntary submissions to receive our electronic newsletters, to participate in our message boards or forums, to email a friend, to pay for fees or products and from participation in polls and surveys.
 
2. Information that users provide to the client organization as part of the process of being a member of the organization.
 
3. Information Heritage Palms gathers through tracking information derived mainly by tallying page views throughout our sites and emails. This information allows us to better tailor our content to readers' needs and to help our clients better understand the needs of their members and users.
 
Under no circumstances does Heritage Palms sell, rent, lease or divulge any of this information about an individual user to a third party other than those, such as the client’s staff, who use the information solely to fulfill the purpose of the website.
 
RECEIVER PROFILE INFORMATION

A Receiver of services may choose to provide the information requested on an application form that may be electronic or paper. A Receiver will be asked to provide profile information, which may include information on contacts, business name, principal's name, bank accounts, addresses, URL's, telephone numbers, and email addresses. This information is used to contact the Receiver about the services and to set the Receiver up for the requested services.
 
DATA ACCESS

 All data access is based on a need-to-know basis. The secure protected area of our Web services site(s) may allow our members, using a unique username and password, to access account information and transaction reporting, and to initiate or process transactions directly from the Web site, depending on their entitlements and account setup. Only employees who need information to perform a specific job (such as our administration representatives) are granted access to personally identifiable information. Every quarter, as well as any time new policies are added, our employees are notified and/or reminded about the importance we place on privacy, and the steps they should take to protect our members’ information.
 
SHARING

When we partner with another party to provide specific services, and a customer signs up for those services, we share only the contact information that is necessary for the third party to provide such services. Third parties are not authorized to use personally identifiable information except for the purpose of providing those services.

Heritage Palms operates secure data networks protected by industry standard firewall and password protection systems. Our security and privacy policies may periodically be reviewed and enhanced as necessary and only authorized individuals have access to the information provided by our customers. To the extent that credit card numbers, bank account numbers and other sensitive financial information are captured, they are encrypted on our servers.
 
OPT-OUT POLICY

Heritage Palms gives users options wherever necessary and practical. Such choices include:
• Opting not to register to receive our clubs newsletters.
• Opting not to participate in certain interactive areas.
