HERITAGE PALMS GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB DESS CODE
Clubhouse and Dining Room
Daytime: Active wear allowed on tennis courts and golf course is allowed in dining areas in the daytime. Denim material is allowed. Blue Jeans (pants or shorts) are prohibited.
All types of swim wear are prohibited in the Clubhouse. Special events may prescribe specific dress. As a courtesy, in the Clubhouse dining room, cell phones should be set on vibrate and answered in the lobby so that diners are not disturbed.
Fitness Center
Only proper fitness attire such as exercise outfits, sweat suits, shirts, shorts, tank tops, slacks and athletic foot wear shall be worn in the Fitness Center. No swim wear is allowed.
Pools and Lodge
Proper swim wear is required for all members, their families, and their guests when using the swimming pools and Spas. Infants must wear swim diapers. Thong suits and cut-offs are not considered appropriate swim wear. Members and guests using the pool or Spa at the Lodge are to use the hallway entrances to the pool area when wearing swim wear. Swim attire is confined to the swimming pool areas and is not appropriate in the main room or game room at the Lodge, and is not permitted on the Golf Course or in the Clubhouse or Fitness Center.
Golf Courses
Men: Proper attire includes golf shirts, collared or mock turtle; golf shorts or similar walking shorts. Men must tuck in shirts at all times unless the shirt is designed to be worn outside of pants. Tank tops, cut-off shorts, sleeveless shirts, tee shirts and athletic shorts (inappropriate length) are not allowed. Golf or tennis shoes are required, and flip flops, shoeless, or sandals (other than those made for golf) are prohibited.
Women: Proper attire includes sleeveless collared or mock turtle; golf shirts or blouses with standard collars and sleeves; golf shorts or similar walking shorts and skirts of appropriate length. Golf or tennis shoes are required, and flip flops, shoeless, or sandals (other than those made for golf) are prohibited.
Tennis Courts and Tennis Pro Shop
Men: Proper attire for men includes appropriate tennis shirts which may include collarless tee shirts (not undershirts, sleeveless shirts or tank tops), tennis shorts and/or appropriate warm-up suits and tennis shoes.
Women: Proper attire for women includes appropriate tennis shirts which may be sleeveless, tennis tops, tennis shorts, tennis skirts and/or appropriate warm-up suits and tennis shoes.
We appreciate that there could be a complaint by another member or person that the member or person is dressed improperly, in which case staff should simply advise such other member that it is the policy of the board that in certain instances staff err on the side of admitting with a private warning rather than barring, and that staff is simply following board policy. |
